Day 1 Sunday
Sunday is the arrival day, when you arrive at your own time and check-in at our nice hotel in Seville. In the afternoon you will meet up with all of us at the hotel for the presentation of the staff. Welcome to the fascinating city of Seville, the capital of Andalusia, where after Spanish classes you will get immersed in what is the most passionate side of Andalusia: Flamenco!
Day 2 Monday
Let’s go biking! After an abundant breakfast at the hotel we will go on a bike-tour to see the best of Seville, such as the Plaza de España, Real Alcazar and the cathedral. In the afternoon we will depart to the village of Antequera, where you will take the Spanish classes of the day at our beautiful hotel, where we will stay for the next couple of nights.
Day 3 Tuesday
Today we will visit the majestic Natural Park “El Torcal”, where vegetation and unusual limestone rock formations create a unique and mystic atmosphere. This nature reserve´s 17 square km are some of the most beautiful and impressive limestone landscapes in Europe. The whole area was under sea until one hundred million years ago. After the Spanish classes we will also visit the village of Antequera.
Day 4 Wednesday
Get your eyes prepared! It’s the Alhambra day! In Granada we will visit the city’s most beautiful places, feel its magic atmosphere and watch its enchanting views, before we visit one of the most beautiful monuments of the world: the Alhambra, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and according to some the 8th Wonder of the World.
Day 5 Thursday
The Alpujarras, a natural and historical region on the south slopes of the Sierra Nevada and its adjacent valley is our next destination, where we will go on a lovely hiking trail and then, after the Spanish classes of the day, we will visit an authentic ham cellar in the village Trevelez, where they will explain the process from the farm to the bodega and of course they will let us try the ham! Spain is famous for its hams and this is one of the villages where the hams are dried and cured, due to it´s climatological characteristics.
